Joe Bob McCartt is the President of McCartt and Associates, Inc., a commercial real estate firm based in Amarillo, TX. McCartt is an Amarillo native who attended both Amarillo College and West Texas State University before graduating in 1971 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. After returning to Amarillo, McCartt began developing commercial real estate in the local market as well as the metroplex.
McCartt has had success in taking underperforming real estate assets and transforming their identity. His successes include the Chase Tower purchase in 2006 at 60% occupancy and sold in 2009 at 90% occupancy. Sequels to the Chase Tower include the Amarillo Building, Wellington Square Shopping Center, Embassy Suites Amarillo, the Hyatt Place & AC Marriott in Bricktown Oklahoma City, 3501 MedCenter, Netplex, the Former Amarillo Air Base, and several commercial business district developments in Amarillo.
Currently McCartt is concentrating on real estate syndication, property and asset management, as well as development and brokerage by affiliating with Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates.
McCartt has served on several boards and committees, but most notably was his two terms on the Texas A&M Real Estate Research Center’s Advisory Committee at College Station, serving as chairman for two terms.

Self-driven with a strong urge for learning, Blane Thornton brings energy and fresh ideas to the world of commercial real estate in the Texas Panhandle. Blane graduated from Randall High School and attended Texas Tech University where he received a Presidential Scholarship.
Blane is a licensed Real Estate agent with focus on buyer and tenant representation. Blane enjoys analyzing companies for their real estate needs and finding solutions to best fit the company. He also serves as a buyer or seller representative for land assets.
Blane enjoys every aspect of commercial real estate with a personal goal of becoming a developer, helping build the future of Amarillo and surrounding areas.
